Abstract
CD38 is an ectoenxyme that utilizes NAD(+) and is expressed by many ce lls of hematopoietic origin. Antibodies to CD38 Potentiate many biolog ical activities on lymphocytes, including induction of murine B-cell p roliferation. In this article, Frances Lund and colleagues summarize i nformation concerning the expression, enzymatic activity and signal tr ansduction pathway utilized by murine CD38.
