Abstract
Periodontal disease is possibly the most commonly diagnosed disease in dogs. To prevent progression of periodontal disease and loss of teeth , early defection of attachment loss with probing is essential. Perioc eutics, a new class of periodontal therapeutics, have been developed t o treat and control periodontal disease.
