The structural properties of Cu(II) and Ni(II) complexes with the new
multidentate ligand 2,6-bis[(2-acetylphenyl)carbamoyl]pyridine, H(2)1,
has been investigated to address the effects of ligand structure on t
he assembly of metal complexes into crystal lattices.
