Abstract
An analytical treatment is presented for scroll waves in the complex G inzburg-Landau equation in the limit of small filament curvature, tors ion, and phase twist. Explicit expressions for the filament velocity a nd frequency shift are found. The theoretical results are verified num erically in the case of circular untwisted scroll rings and for straig ht and sinusoidal scroll filaments with phase twist.
