The neutron total cross section for natural indium was measured for E(
n) = 25-500 eV with the time-of-flight method at the Los Alamos Neutro
n Scattering Center. The neutron capture reaction was studied on a hig
hly enriched sample (99.99%) of In-115. A total of 47 previously unrep
orted resonances were observed. The combination of the two measurement
s allowed assignment of the new resonances to In-113 or In-115. Resona
nce parameters were extracted for all of the neutron resonances observ
ed.
