Abstract
The Blasius equation of boundary layer how is a third-order nonlinear differential equation. We solved the equation using the differential t ransformation method. It offered not only the numerical values, but al so the power series close-form solutions. The results prove that the d ifferential transformation method is one of the powerful techniques fo r nonlinear problems. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserv ed.
