O. Matsuda et al., RELAXATION PROCESS OF PHOTO-EXCITED STATES IN CESE2 GLASS INVESTIGATED BY TIME-RESOLVED PHOTOLUMINESCENCE, Journal of non-crystalline solids, 230, 1998, pp. 829-832
Time-resolved photoluminescence measurement is done on glassy GeSe2. T
he decay curve consists of a process whose decay time is about similar
to 0.3 ms and a faster process whose decay time is less than 1 mu s.
The decay time of the slower process becomes short with increasing exc
itation energy. The ratio between the slower process and the faster pr
ocess increases with increasing excitation energy especially in the hi
gher emission energy region. The relaxation process from the excited s
tate just after the photon absorption to the trapped excited state is
discussed. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. AII rights reserved.
