Abstract
An adaptive approach to restoration of images corrupted by blurring, c ombined with additive, impulsive and multiplicative noise is proposed. It is based on the combination of nonlinear filters, iterative filter ing procedures, and the principles of local adaptation. Numerical simu lations and test images illustrating the efficiency of the approach ar e presented, (C) 1997 SPIE and IS&T.
