Abstract
A simple method for the calculation of the anomalous dimensions of com posite operators up to order 1/N-2 is developed. We demonstrate the ef fectiveness of this approach by computing the critical exponents of th e (x Phi)(S) and (Phi x (x partial derivative)(n)Phi) operators to ord er 1/N-2 in the non-linear sigma-model. The special simplifications du e to the conformal invariance of the model are discussed. (C) 1998 Els evier Science B.V.
