US DEMONSTRATION AND DIAGNOSIS OF THE MIDAORTIC SYNDROME

The midaortic syndrome is a rare entity, typically presenting with hyp ertension, refractory to treatment. The diagnosis is usually made by a rteriography. We report a child in whom the diagnosis was made by ultr asound, confirmed by arteriography and successfully treated by balloon dilatation.
