Abstract
A new method for computing the mutual coupling between aperture antenn as using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method together with the Kirchhoff near-field to near-field transformation is described. T he method offers a reduction in computer storage, particularly for wid ely spaced antenna elements in an array.
