We present mass models for three SO galaxies with a strong disk compon
ent observed almost on edge (NGC 2732, NGC 4111, and NGC 4350). For th
e analytical representation of the surface-brightness distribution, th
e method of Multi-Gaussian Expansion, first presented by Monnet et al.
(1992: A&A 253, 366) is applied to V-band surface photometry. A simpl
ified dynamical model is adopted, and the calculated kinematic profile
s are compared to long-slit spectroscopic data; overall agreement is r
eached, except for the innermost region, where additional mass is need
ed for all three galaxies. We discuss possible applications.
