Abstract
The absolute configuration of juvenile hormone III bisepoxide, the put ative characteristic juvenile hormone of higher dipteran insects, has been established as 2E,6S,7S,10R by HPLC and cyclodextrin-modified CE comparison of synthetic stereoisomers with biosynthetically H-3-labell ed hormone from the Australian sheep blowfly Lucilia cuprina. ---
