Abstract
Two novel insoluble octanuclear mixed-metal clusters with a centrosymm etric [M3O4CrCrO4M3]14+ (M=Mo, W) core have been synthesized and chara cterized; a strong absorption near zero magnetic field in the EPR spec trum of the CrW3 cluster is unexpectedly observed.
