Abstract
An oxygen acceptive catalyser Fe/FeO mixture was added to the high den sity polyethylene (HDPE) at different amounts and the stabilisation ef fects of this additive on the structure of HDPE was investigated. It w as shown that the mechanical behaviour and the temperature stability o f HDPE was significantly improved with the application of the additive . The experimental results were found to be accordance with analytical approaches.
