Recent neutron-scattering and nuclear-magnetic-resonance experiments h
ave revealed that the low-temperature phase of doped V2-yO3 is an itin
erant antiferromagnet with a helical spin structure. We use a hand-str
ucture calculation as the point of departure to show that these experi
ments are in agreement with mean-field results for an Overhauser spin-
density-wave state. The influences of a finite lifetime and of dilute
magnetic impurities are discussed. [S0163-1829(98)07325-1].
