Experiments in which 98.2% porous aerogels exert a profound influence
on the properties of super-fluid He-3 are described. Superfluid transi
tion temperature and superfluid density are reduced from their bulk va
lues. Experiments use torsional oscillator techniques to examine the s
uperfluid onset and temperature development with high precision in the
mK temperature regime. Simulations are also discussed in the context
