D. Martin et al., SILVER PARTICLE SIZES AND SHAPES AS DETERMINED DURING A DEPOSIT BY IN-SITU SURFACE DIFFERENTIAL REFLECTANCE, Surface science, 404(1-3), 1998, pp. 433-436
Clusters formed by evaporation of silver on TiO2(110) have been studie
d in situ, under ultra-high vacuum conditions, by surface differential
reflectance of UV-visible light. Cluster sizes and shape ratios are d
erived by fitting the optical spectrum to a model which accounts for t
he relaxation time of the electrons, the particle-substrate and the pa
rticle-particle interactions. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All right
