Abstract
Clusters formed by evaporation of silver on TiO2(110) have been studie d in situ, under ultra-high vacuum conditions, by surface differential reflectance of UV-visible light. Cluster sizes and shape ratios are d erived by fitting the optical spectrum to a model which accounts for t he relaxation time of the electrons, the particle-substrate and the pa rticle-particle interactions.
