Abstract
The paper was aimed at investigation of preparation of nanocrystalline powder copper Cu - 5 vol.% CuO.Al2O3 by a modified mechanical-chemica l method, analysis of structural characteristics and evaluation of mec hanical and electrical properties of the compact material prepared by extrusion of this mixture. The composite material prepared by the ment ioned method exhibits high strength properties and good electric condu ctivity. The optimum use of this material is anticipated in applicatio ns which require preservation of these properties, even at elevated te mperatures, for example in electrotechnical industry.
