The paper reports results of the studies on the influence of deformati
on degree and temperature in the die forging process and annealing tem
perature on the fatigue strength of forgings made of two phase martens
itic titanium alloys Ti-6Al-3V and Ti-6Al-2Mo-2Cr. Dilatometric and me
tallographic studies have been carried out along with X-ray phase anal
ysis and fatigue tests. The influence of the phase composition and mic
rostructure obtained after cooling with different rates on the fatigue
