Abstract
Exchange rates in cyclohexylamine-N-H-3 catalyzed by cesium cyclohexyl amide were determined by H-3 NMR for the vinyl positions of 3,3-dimeth yl-1-butene (1-trans > l-cis > 2-) and the cyclopropyl methylene posit ions of norcarane (exo > endo) relative to the ring position of p-xyle ne. The kinetic acidity of cubane was confirmed. (C) 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
