Abstract
Ruthenium on fullerenes and ruthenium and palladium on activated carbo n were compared for their catalytic activity and selectivity in cinnam aldehyde hydrogenation. The fullerene support had a marked effect on t he selectivity, even though the fullerenes themselves showed no cataly tic activity.
