QUALITY FACTOR OF AN EVANESCENT MODE OKADA RESONATOR

An Okada junction circulator whose terminals are compatible with the u se of evanescent mode filter circuits is described. It is realised by symmetrically restricting the opening of the junction formed by the wa veguides using thick metal vanes. The paper gives some experimental da ta on the split frequencies and quality factor on such a 2-chamber res onator in a WR 137 waveguide.
