We study here possible deformations of the usual exterior algebra of f
orms in an N-dimensional space X. For consistency reasons, these defor
mations are Cuntz derivations on the commutative algebra of functions
of X and, moreover, they are solutions of the quantum Yang-Baxter equa
tion. Finally, consistent deformations of the exterior algebra in the
N = 1 and N = 2 cases are explicitly constructed and the relation of t
he present approach to the differential calculus on quantum spares is
briefly discussed.
