Abstract
It is shown that scale-breaking generalized Yang-Mills systems in 2n d imensions have hedgehog (instanton) solutions for all n > 1. For the c ases n = 3 and 4, the equations are solved in the asymptotic regions a nd these hedgehogs are studied numerically.
