R. Grossinger et M. Dahlgren, EXCHANGE-COUPLED HARD MAGNETIC-MATERIALS IN PULSED HIGH MAGNETIC-FIELDS, Physica. B, Condensed matter, 246, 1998, pp. 213-218
The effect of the exchange coupling on intrinsic properties such as th
e magneto-crystalline anisotropy is summarized. Hysteresis measurement
s in high external fields are necessary in order to determine the satu
ration magnetization. The anisotropy field is determined by applying t
he singular-point detection (SPD) technique. The steps to improve the
sensitivity of a pulsed field magnetometer to measure the hysteresis o
n single flakes are described. Data are used to analyse the relation b
etween the enhanced remanence and the coercivity and to determine the
exchange length in exchange enhanced materials. (C) 1998 Elsevier Scie
