High-field AFMR measurement of Nd2BaNiO5 powder has been performed for
the first time in the frequency region from 50 to 383 GHz using the p
ulsed magnetic field up to 16 T at 1.8 K. Two magnetic transitions at
B-c1 = 9.6 T and B-c2 = 16.2 T were also observed by our magnetization
measurement at 4.2 K. Two distinct AFMR modes with gaps of about 240
GHz and 1 THz, and the change of AFMR modes at B-c1 were observed. The
attribution of these modes are discussed. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B
