Abstract
The interchain exchange integral J' along the b-axis of the spin-Peier ls system CuGeO3 is estimated by analyzing the exchange splitting of E PR spectra observed at T = 300 K under ultra-high magnetic fields up t o 100 T. The evaluated magnitude of J' (similar to 0.4 meV) is smaller than that estimated from the inelastic neutron scattering measurement s. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
