HIGH-SENSITIVITY DATA-ACQUISITION DURING STRONG TRANSIENT ELECTROMAGNETIC-FIELDS

The 225 kJ 60 kV single-turn coil equipment that recently went into fu ll operation in Berlin, makes it possible to work with magnetic fields above 200 T in a volume of about 1 cm(3). The generation of such high magnetic fields take place on a us-time scale and is therefore connec ted with very strong transient electromagnetic pulses, which considera bly complicate the measuring procedure.
