The magnetization and differential magnetic susceptibility of Dy0.62Y2
.38Fe5O12 single crystals has been measured at T = 4.2 K in pulsed mag
netic fields up to 45 T for three orientations of the external magneti
c field: H//[1 0 0], H//[1 0 0] and H//[1 1 1]. The magnetic reversal
of the rare-earth magnetic subsystem gives rise to several phase trans
itions. The anomalies observed in the magnetization curves are interpr
eted under the assumption of Ising ordering of the rare-earth ions. (C
