Abstract
The recent publication of cases of sexual abuse and child prostitution networks may have the harmful effect of arousing latent desires or ca using sexual delinquents to act out their impulses. The authors report a recent case in which a wax candle was introduced into the vagina of a 20-month-old baby. The forensic description is given and provisiona l conclusions are drawn.
