Abstract
Trimethylaluminum reacts with 2-(hydroxymethyl) aniline in a 2:1 molar ratio to afford the trinuclear [AIMe(2)](2)[(OCH2C6H4-2-NH)(2)AlMe] c ompound, which is characterized by H-1 and Al-27 NMR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science S.A. All r ights reserved.
