Abstract
This paper is the continuation of Liang et al. J. Comput. Struct. 62 ( 2) (1997) 243-251. In this paper, a set of explicit formulations of va riations for calculating sensitivity of static responses are presented . This method may greatly increase the computational efficiency if use d with the M-P inverse topological variation method. By using this met hod the exact sensitivity can be obtained.
