Abstract
The second documented capture of one specimen of Pontinus kuhlii (Bowd ich, 1825) (Osteichthyes: Scorpaenidae) is reported from the Western M editerranean, including a description of the specimen and formulating a hypothesis about the distribution of this species in the area.
