Results on the creep-induced anisotropy in CoFeSiB amorphous glass-cov
ered wires with nearly zero magnetostriction and in such wires after g
lass removal are reported for the first time. The particular character
istics of such magnetic materials determine particular aspects of this
anisotropy induced by stress-annealing. For the experimental investig
ation of the creep-induced anisotropy we used for the first time magne
to-impedance-based measurements. Stress-annealed wires after glass rem
oval behave similar to conventional in-rotating-water quenched amorpho
us wires with the same composition. The glass-covered wires display a
specific behavior originating in the presence of the glass cover.
