Abstract
The energetic model of ferromagnetic hysteresis is generalized for iso tropic materials. All reversible contributions of the domain wall move ments are described by a reversible field strength. The probability fo r an elastic movement to proceed is decreasing with increasing distanc e from pinning centers. The physical constants of this model are deriv ed from initial susceptibility, coercivity, and saturation magnetizati on. The approach shows a good agreement to the magnetization curves of both soft and hard magnetic, anisotropic and isotropic materials.
