The defined rotational magnetization of highly grain oriented SiFe she
ets is complicated by the material's strong anisotropy. Especially cir
cular magnetization is usually restricted to induction values of 1.2 T
, even if advanced feed-back systems are applied. Specifically for ani
sotropic materials, a 3-phase excited single sheet tester was develope
d which offers 1.2 T magnetization without feed-back. For values up to
1.5 T, a digital control system is described which is based on fuzzy
algorithms. It offers target approximations with procedure times close
to 1 minute, the errors being restricted to some percent.
