M. Dewulf et al., REAL-TIME CONTROLLED ARBITRARY EXCITATION FOR IDENTIFICATION OF ELECTROMAGNETIC PROPERTIES OF NONORIENTED STEEL, Journal de physique. IV, 8(P2), 1998, pp. 705-708
In this work. a measuring station for tearing laminated electrical ste
el under arbitrary excitation conditions is presented. Different contr
ol strategies for enforcing an arbitrary induction waveform are tested
and compared. A classical PID control scheme can be used to minimise
the error. A PID controller however, requires fine tuning of its param
eters, depending on the measurement conditions. Extending the controll
er with a more sophisticated decision making process yields better mat
erial independence and better measurement condition independence of th
e flux control.
