Abstract
A new chromene, methyl -8-(3-methyl-2-butenyl)-2H-chromene-6-carboxyla te, present in a mixture of eupatoriochromene, and mono- and sesquiter penes from Piper aduncum was identified by spectroscopic analysis. In addition, seven known flavonoids and a mixture of sitosterol and stigm asterol were also isolated and identified. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science L td. All rights reserved.
