Abstract
We present the laparoscopic repair of a large incisional hernia second ary to placement of a subcostal ICD pulse generator. Laparoscopic repa ir of large incisional hernias provides a unique and technically feasi ble form of repair in the 2 %-13 % of patients who will develop an inc isional hernia following an abdominal surgery. This form of hernia rep air is associated with minimal morbidity and prompt resumption of pati ent activities and work.
