The quantitative gas analysis presents an important task in industrial process control. The measuring of the gas concentration is, however, frequently very difficult, because the gas to be investigated may be v ery hot, often acts corrosively or is under excess pressure. These dif ficulties can be ignored by a newly developed diode Laser spectrometer that enables a contact-free measuring technique.
