GLAUCOMATOCYCLITIC CRISIS IN A CHILD

PURPOSE: To report a case of glaucomatocyclitic crisis (Posner-Schloss man syndrome) in a child. METHOD: Case report. A 13-year old boy prese nted with decreased vision, photophobia, halos, and pain in the right eye. RESULT: Findings in this child were consistent with a diagnosis o f Posner-Schlossman syndrome. CONCLUSION: Glaucomatocyclitic crisis ca n occur in a child and must be included in the differential diagnosis of uveitis and glaucoma in pediatric patients. (C) 1998 by Elsevier Sc ience Inc.
