Abstract
The volume properties of potassium nitrate aqueous solutions are studi ed at 298-573:K under pressures of 2-40 MPa in the H2O concentration r ange 0.0962-0.944 mol kg(-1). The optimal equation of state is propose d to describe experimental data. The limiting partial molar volumes of dissolved salt in the aqueous solutions are calculated at various tem peratures and pressures.
