Abstract
Specific feature of anionic polymerization of maleic anhydride and the structure of the resulting product were studied. A method for prepara tion of a copolymer of vinylene ketone and maleic anhydride was develo ped. The possibility of preparation of polyvinylene ketone is demonstr ated, and some properties of this polymer are discussed.
