Abstract
The interaction of maleic and phthalic anhydrides with dimethylbenzyla mine in weakly polar solvents was studied. Experimental data are prese nted on the influence of components and medium on the charge-transfer energy and complex stability. The carbonyl group behaves as acceptor i n complex formation.
