Modification of styrene-butadiene latices with a black dye produced by
oxidation of amine precursor was studied. The conditions ensuring com
plete exhaustion of the dye and formation of fast black latex films wi
thout affecting the aggregative stability of latex formulations are el
ucidated. The influence of the dye on the colloid and chemical propert
ies of latex formulations and physicomechanical characteristics and ad
hesion of latex films were studied.
