Knowledge of high-temperature actinide mononitrides systems has been e
xtended in two fields. Systematics of the evaporation behavior of acti
nide mononitrides, including NpN and AmN, are discussed in view of rec
ent experimental data. Secondly, for electrochemical data for the U-N-
Cl system in molten salts let us consider equilibria in ternary system
s containing halogens. The vaporization behavior of mononitrides toget
her with other equilibrium relationships are described using a sublatt
ice formalism, where the structural vacancy in the nitrogen sublattice
