R. Guidobaldi et al., INFLUENCE OF THE SAMPLING PERIOD ON SINUSOIDAL STEADY-STATE OPERATIONS OF INVERTER-FED ASYNCHRONOUS MOTORS, Compel, 17(1-3), 1998, pp. 219-224
Inverter-fed asynchronous motors represent today a source of disturban
ce in electric drives, because they irradiate outside their frames ele
ctromagnetic waves with different frequencies. Knowledge of the distur
bances generated inside the drive is necessary. In the paper the influ
ence of the sampling time on the distortion between predicted and actu
al armature current is evaluated on the basis of an analytical calculu
s procedure, that allows for an easy evaluation of the harmonic conten
ts of the currents. This is the first step towards the evaluation of t
he causes of environmental electromagnetic disturbances.
