Abstract
In this paper we prove global-in-time existence and uniqueness of a po sitive solution for the system of nonlinear partial differential equat ions arising from an electrochemistry model. The powers of nonlinearit y are allowed to be arbitrary positive integers, and our domain is any bounded subdomain of R-2 with a smooth boundary.
