Abstract
rac-Zr(eta(5):eta(1)-CpCMe2CB10H10C)(2), prepared from the reaction of the dilithium salt of the new isopropyl-bridged cyclopentadienyl o-ca rboranyl ligand CpHCMe2CB10H10CH with ZrCl4 catalyzes the formation of syndiotactic poly(methyl methacrylate) ill THF in the absence of any alkylating reagent or cationic center generator.
